What you pay us, and what you do not.
Our fees cover medical information organization, pathway design, translation and coordination.
They do not cover hospital or medical costs.
Every fee is confirmed in writing before any work begins.
Our Services
Medical Readiness Assessment
Complimentary.
What is included
- Review of the medical information you provide;
- Medical Readiness Report;
- Possible clinical directions;
- Whether Shanghai may be worth considering;
- One complimentary follow-up question by email.
- One complimentary assessment per patient. Further assessments for the same case may be quoted separately.
Shanghai Specialist Review
From USD 199, depending on specialty and case complexity.
What is included
- Organization of the submitted medical records;
- Preparation of your key questions;
- Coordination of a suitable Shanghai specialist review;
- The specialist's available written opinion or consultation record;
- English translation and a patient-friendly summary;
- Suggested next steps based on the specialist's documented opinion.
- The fee is confirmed in writing before the review begins.
- If you later proceed with Shanghai Medical Coordination for the same medical case, 50% of this fee will be credited toward your coordination service.
Shanghai Medical Coordination
Individually quoted for each case.
Because every medical pathway is different, the fee is prepared after the preliminary case review, once the service scope is confirmed with you.
The exact scope depends on the case, but may include:
- A personalized medical pathway;
- Hospital and specialist matching;
- Appointment and examination coordination;
- Admission and treatment coordination;
- Medical translation and communication support;
- An estimated schedule and service budget;
- Medical-record organization before departure;
- Follow-up coordination after returning home.
- Your written quotation states the scope, the fee and the payment schedule before any coordination begins.
What Our Fees Do Not Include
Unless specifically stated in your written quotation, the following are not included and are paid by you directly:
- Hospital and physician fees;
- Examinations, imaging and laboratory tests;
- Medication and treatment costs;
- Travel, visa and accommodation costs;
- Insurance premiums and any expenses your insurer declines to cover.
How Fees Are Confirmed
- 01You receive a written quotation stating the scope and the fee.
- 02The fee becomes effective only after you confirm it in writing.
- 03If the scope changes during the case, any change is quoted and confirmed in writing before the work continues.
There are no commissions from hospitals or physicians, and no fees that are not stated in your quotation.
Insurance
Some international and private health insurance plans may cover medical expenses incurred in China.
Please confirm your coverage with your insurance provider before travelling. If you intend to use insurance, tell us in advance so we can help prepare the necessary medical documentation where appropriate.
